Massage

Classical Massage

Classical Massage therapy is a hands-on treatment that manipulates muscles and soft tissues to improve physical and emotional well-being. Massage techniques will target specific areas of tension or pain.

Why Does Massage Therapy Work?

Massage therapy works by improving circulation, relaxing muscles, and stimulating the release of endorphins—the body’s natural painkillers. Scientific evidence supports its effectiveness in reducing stress hormones, enhancing immune function, and relieving chronic pain. Regular massage therapy can also promote better posture and mobility.

Benefits of Massage Therapy

- Relieves muscle tension and pain

- Reduces stress and anxiety

- Improves circulation and lymphatic drainage

- Enhances flexibility and mobility

- Promotes mental clarity and relaxation

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)

is a specialised form of massage that stimulates the lymphatic system, helping to remove toxins, reduce swelling, and boost immune function. Using light, rhythmic movements, this therapy encourages the natural flow of lymph fluid throughout the body.

Why Does Manual Lymphatic Drainage Work?

MLD works by enhancing the function of the lymphatic system, which plays a crucial role in maintaining the body’s immune defences and fluid balance. Research shows that MLD can effectively reduce lymphedema, alleviate post-surgical swelling, and promote overall detoxification. The gentle technique makes it suitable for those recovering from surgery or managing chronic conditions.

Benefits of Manual Lymphatic Drainage

  • Reduces swelling and fluid retention

  • Supports post-surgical recovery

  • Boosts immune function

  • Promotes relaxation and detoxification

  • Alleviates symptoms of lymphedema
